Dopameme
An unassumingly innocent meme. Once the recipient resonates with the meme they are pleasantly surprised with an unexpected spark of dopamine that may cause laughter or at the very least, a satisfied smile. Dopamemes are renowned for uplifting mood and their effects can be passed on to others through the use of sharing links.
If received early in the day, residual dopamine may stay present for the first half of the morning, which could impact on work productivity and overall morale. Effects may be affected by external sources, such as a distraction outside the window, or a hot beverage filled with further sources of dopamine, ultimately overpowering the effects of the dopameme.
When someone successfully manages to gift someone dopameme (the meme was appreciated and evoked a genuine response from the recipient), the person on the receiving end is known to have been “domamemed”.
